You will also support a range of community activities, from events and workshops to outreach programmes, helping to coordinate logistics and build relationships with community members. Additionally, you will assist our external PR officer with press releases, public relations tasks, and help maintain the Centre’s website.
This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management, communications, event coordination, and community outreach whilst gaining experience of working within a heritage organisation.

Join Our Team: Learning Assistant
Are you enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about education and engaging others with history? Are you interested in working in a museum environment where you can help bring history to life for visitors and students? We are currently seeking an organised, collaborative, and enthusiastic individual who is eager to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact in our learning programmes.
As a Learning Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting educational programs and facilitating engaging experiences for visitors of all ages. You will work closely with the museum’s Head of Learning to develop, deliver, and evaluate a variety of learning activities, from workshops to public events and more. You will also help maintain and prepare learning materials, assist with school and community group visits, and contribute to creating interactive and accessible learning experiences around Holocaust Centre North’s collections.
This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in museum education, and it offers the perfect opportunity for those considering a career in museums, heritage, or education.
