* as a Journal is a thematic publication by the Lithuanian Culture Institute which offers a fresh outlook on contemporary cultural movements and recognises the insightful contributions that artists, creators and researchers from Lithuania and beyond bring to topics of global concern. The recent issue is dedicated to the theme of Memory.
Join us on the 17th of November for the launch of this journal in the UK, with guest-editor Daiva Price and Holocaust Centre North chair Jenny Kagan. The content of each issue of the magazine is developed by guest editors with a special interest in the chosen topic and created by an international team of contributors. If you are interested in what it’s like to work with memory then this is the event for you.
There will be a discussion between Davia and Jenny from 1:30-3pm, followed by a drinks reception and an opportunity to explore the exhibition at Holocaust Centre North.
This event is co-produced in collaboration with the Lithuanian Cultural Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
