Operation Bernhard was a Nazi operation to create forged British currency to disable the British economy during WWII as highlighted in the latest Peaky Blinders film ‘Immortal Man’. We have recently acquired some of the original counterfeits which are on display at Holocaust Centre North. On Thursday 21st May we will be joined by Andy Taylor who donated them to speak about their importance and how he acquired them, as well as giving you the opportunity to see them up close.
