Through Our Eyes: Holocaust Survivors’ Experiences from the North of England

Join the editors of this anthology of previously unpublished testimony from Holocaust survivors and child refugees who settled in the North of England. We will also be joined by Holocaust child refugee, Liesel Carter, whose testimony is included in the anthology, to discuss the project and their hope for its role within Holocaust education in the future.
Whereas historical accounts provide often unemotional and factual descriptions of events, this mosaic of voices reveals how survivors coped with complex circumstances in their own way, and were guided by their own unique personalities, morals, and cultures.
