Nansen passport

A Nansen passport was an internationally-recognised document that was issued to those who were considered stateless refugees. First issued in 1922, a Nansen passport allowed refugees to leave or enter a country. They were named after the Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen, who had promoted them widely.
