Adult Learning
Our sessions for adult interest groups are the starting point for further exploration of the exhibition and the stories we hold at Holocaust Centre North.
Holocaust Education for Adults
Our Holocaust Education programme for adults explores the darkest parts of modern history to understand how to effectively challenge prejudice and discrimination today.
By using 20th Century case studies, including the perspectives of victims, the course examines how cultural, political, and economic change affected people between the two world wars. The course then considers how extremism thrives in contexts of populism and lack of accountability. We will then look at how to identify the early warning signs of discrimination and complicity so that equality, diversity and inclusion can thrive across all levels of society at large.
The session can be hosted in person, at Holocaust Centre North in Huddersfield or remotely on Zoom.
